We did it – We walked for a cause!

My friends and I want the world to know that there are children like myself who are living with limb loss and there is a need to adequately care for them.

Trust me, Its really not a big deal because I can swim, dance ballet , fight Taekwondo and take care of my little brother.

We walked 2km, we had so much fun! Would you like to join us next time?

If yes please visit The Irede Foundation  for more information.

Every child is special – #OutOnALimb

I Love failures

c o m e  u p  w i t h (3)I do not like to fail. My fear of failure many time stops me from daring to do a couple of things I know I should do. Hear this, I am no longer afraid of failure and here is why…

God always causes us to triumph and to have victory.

Victory is not something we are trying to have. Victory belongs to us. We are at a vantage point because position-ally we are more than conquerors.

Our conditions may not look like it – but that’s okay.

A sailor never gets skillful without storms (Tweet that).

Here is the deal:

 Failure is an event!

It doesn’t matter how many times the event “failed” what matters is what we do after the “event”

Typically when events fail we react by giving up, quitting, being resentful , being hurt etc

While those feelings are real , we cannot be ruled by them.

We must respond by keeping faith, by trying again , pressing on, being kind, forgiving etc

I stumbled on a letter written to Fear by Joyce Meyer. (Click here to download) and I said to me!

I am done being afraid.

So today I am here to remind you Failure is nothing.

As a Volunteer for the IREDE Foundation, I find great joy and a sense of purpose in helping the organization empower child amputees to live a self sufficient life.

Last year, I manage an awareness walk tagged ” OUT on a LIMB” and there were amazing children who came out to walk with their parents. I love children and when I see them involved in activities in their communities, I have hope for the future.

These children choose to be advocates rather than sit in front of their computer or playing video games all day at home.

They volunteered their time and energy to those in need.

Today I celebrate these incredible young people, who made the choice to spend their spare time making a difference in the lives of child amputees.

If this child can, what are you waiting for?

An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge- Proverbs 18:15

Property may be destroyed and money may lose its purchasing power; but, character, health, knowledge and good judgement will always be in demand under all conditions-Roger Babson.

Knowledge makes all the difference, wealthy people like us can testify! #Smile.

One of the greatest habits I have developed is the discipline of reading. I am hungry for knowledge and I think you should too. Many of the things we literally pay for is our ignorance. I  am challenging you to read more this year. Go ahead and set reading goals for yourself . Start small but be consistent.

We live in an information age, you honestly do not have an excuse.

Please share the name of the book you are currently reading. Feel free to post it in the comment column (with a brief review).

Made in Hollywood?

Ever wonder who invented sex? More like what country did “the product “come from lol, seriously now where did sex come from?

Just so you know sex was not MADE IN HOLLYWOOD, God created sex. Remember when He was done creating, He saw all that he created and it was very good. #SEXisgood

It is well-known and globally accepted fact that

  1. the manufacturer of any product knows more about the product than anyone else
  2. The product is created to meet a particular need
  3. For the product to function effectively the guideline (manual) for operation must be followed.

In parallel, God designed sex to be explored and enjoyed #ONLY in marriage. Therefore every other way we have used sex is an #abuse or a #misuse.

Myles Munroe in his book Understanding the Purpose and Power of Woman said

“When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable”

What then is the purpose of sex?

  • Procreation
  • Intimacy
  • Companionship
  • Physical Pleasure

Reference Gen. 1:28 , Song 1:13,  Song 2:3, Song 2:6,  Song 4:5 , Song 3:1, Song 1:2

I honestly believe that Gods wants us to enjoy SEX to the fullest. He intended sex to be far more than mere pleasurable sensations. He designed it as the intimate union of spirit, soul and body #exclusively shared between a husband and wife.

Just How Important is a foundation?

Well am a trained civil engineer (oh yes I am and I use to work with TREVI foundations) so I think I know just how important a foundation is to a building. If you don’t please take time out to find out (now that’s your assignment + thank God for Google). From time to time we hear cases of collapse buildings, although there are different reasons why this happens, here is a few:

  1. The use of low quality building materials coupled with employment of incompetent artisans and weak supervision of workmen on site.
  2. Non-compliance with specifications/standards, use of substandard building materials and equipment’s and the employment of incompetent contractors.
  3. Non-enforcement of existing laws and endemic poor work ethics at large.

The above is not an exhaustive list, but trust me one thing most of these collapse buildings have in common is a #FAILED FOUNDATION. When this happens there is an enormous loss of huge investments in housing, properties and above all human life.

Structural integrity is not just a necessity, it is a MUST.

Enough of my civil engineering #drama (well I hope you learnt a thing or two) let’s get down to business (shhh… we are talking about SEX).

I will be laying down the foundation for our sex talk.

  1. Sex was not invented in #Hollywood. (Yes, just in case you thought so), #SEX was made by #GOD.
  2. The manufacturer of any product determines the #purpose of the product and typically gives a manual for direction/ instruction. Our manual is the #Bible
  3. Sex is good, Sex is not SIN.
  4. Sex is a natural part of human existence. Notice I said human not animal.
  5. Sex was designed to be explored and enjoyed ONLY in marriage. (Well the creator said so , not me ) – Don’t get me wrong I am imperfect. This is me keeping it real.I also do not speak as one who has attained but this one thing I do: I forget what is behind and  am pressing forward to what is ahead.

This is pretty long I know (I love to speak #omowunmispeaks) …

Stayed tuned as our sex talk is getting intense!
